Acupuncture restores balance and activates the body’s healing response…tried and true for thousands of years (since approx. 100 B.C.E.). These days, practitioners insert very thin disposable needles at carefully selected points throughout the body. These “points” facilitate a response in one’s Qi, or vital energy. By selecting the location(s) and the technique of insertion, acupuncturists restore balance by activating the body’s healing response. Depending on the complexity, severity and length of the condition, multiple treatments may be required. Issues commonly addressed include:
- Back/Neck/Muscular-Skeletal/Orthopedic Pain
- PMS, Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea
- Menopause Symptoms
- Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia
- Common Cold and Flu
- Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders
- Surgery/Injury Rehabilitation
- Allergies and Asthma
- Headaches and TMJ
- Addictions/Smoking Cessation
- Epigastric and Abdominal Pain
